Call for Papers: Special Edition on Seventy-Five Years of China–Pakistan Diplomatic Relations
The Journal of Peace and Diplomacy invites scholars, researchers, policy analysts, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for its Special Edition titled:
Seventy-Five Years of China–Pakistan Diplomatic Relations: Reflections, Reassessments, and the Road Ahead
This special issue commemorates 75 years of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan (21 May 1951 – 21 May 2026) and aims to provide a platform for critical academic reflection on the historical evolution, strategic significance, contemporary dimensions, and future trajectory of this important bilateral relationship.
We welcome high-quality submissions that address, but are not limited to, the following themes:
- Historical foundations of China–Pakistan diplomatic relations
- Strategic cooperation and regional security dynamics
- Economic partnership, trade, and investment
- China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and regional connectivity
- Diplomacy, foreign policy, and multilateral engagement
- Cultural exchange, education, and people-to-people relations
- Emerging geopolitical challenges and future prospects
